2.\u00a0 Choose your mount configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are four options to mount your laser to your machine.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Bottom of an 80mm spindle.\u00a0 You will need to make sure you have enough room on the bottom of your spindle to accommodate the laser.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> DeWalt Router holder in the front.\u00a0 If you have the Dewalt router mount for the AVID, then you can use this mount for the laser.\u00a0 Not Available with the 44W Metal version.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> The Makita and DeWalt clamp mounts fit onto the bottom of the router.\u00a0 Just make sure you router is pushed all the way down.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Generic Magnet Mounting plate.\u00a0 You can put this plate in front of your spindle or next to it on your Z gantry.\u00a0 Just fabricate a plate to put the magnet mount so it sits above the chuck when there is no laser on it and below the chuck when there is a laser on it.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Laser and Fan Extension Cable Length:<\/h4>\n

These laser and fan extension cables allow for longer distances from the laser driver to the laser. \u00a0If you machine is large and you don\u2019t want to mount the driver on the gantry, then these cables will allow for longer distances between the driver and the laser. \u00a0This distance adds to the already 3\u2032 laser and fan cable that comes standard.<\/p>\n

Cable is 18 AWG with Molex Mini fit Jr. connectors on each side.<\/p>\n

Lengths are 5\u2032, 10\u2032, 15\u2032, 20 and 25\u2032.<\/p>\n

For the 4′ x 8′ AVID CNC machines, you will most likely need the 25′ extension cables.<\/p>\n

4. Choose Your Power Cord:<\/h4>\n

We have options for U.S. (North America), UK (United Kingdom), EU (European Union), and AU (Australia).<\/p>\n
