This is the magnetic mounting kit for the X Carve machine as seen in the X Carve Instructions.  The kit works with all old and new model X Carves as well as with Z axis upgrades.

This mounts in front of the Spindle Holder to allow for an easier offset for the laser.  The magnetic laser can be removed to allow for the Suckit or Inventables dust boot to be used.  No need to remove your side rails to use the laser.

The kit includes:

1.  Printed Magnetic Laser Mount for the Dewalt spindle holder.
2. Mounting Screws
3. Molex mini fit Jr cable
4. Laser and Fan Extension Cords
5. Zip Ties

Choose to either get just the mount or the full mounting kit, Dewalt or Makita router option.

Description

The kit works with all old and new X Carve machines.  It also works with machines with the new Z Axis slider upgrade.  We no longer mount the driver on the top of the Z gantry and instead mount it on top of the X Controller and run the cables to the gantry.

X Carve Compatible Magnet Mounting Kit

  1. Magnet Laser Mount: To put in the spindle holder for the laser.
  2. Laser Mount Screws/Nuts: To mount the laser on the laser mount.
  3. Laser Spindle Mount Screws/Nuts: Longer M4 Screws to be able to place the laser mount in the spindle holder.
  4. Zip Ties: To clean everything up for cabling.
  5. Zip Tie Holder: To place on the Z axis gantry to hold the laser cable in place.
  6. Molex Mini Fit Jr. Cable:  Input control cable for the laser driver.
  7. Laser and Fan Extension Cables:  10 ft extension cables
  8. Sticky Pads:  4 sticky pads for mounting the driver.

 

This mounting kit works with the Magnetic Shrouded Laser and Driver Kits.
